Learn more about rodent controlWhat you actually get
Every rat company in this city has an awards row. None of it tells you how the work gets done, so here is the method instead.
Rats only
Not a general pest route with a rodent line item bolted on.
Day or night
Ceiling noise at 2am is when people call. The line is open then.
Upfront pricing
You hear the number and the scope before anything starts.
Removal plus exclusion
Trapping on its own is a rental agreement. The hole gets closed.
Attic and roofline
Where a Tampa rat actually lives, not just where the droppings show.
Tampa and beyond
Hillsborough County plus the surrounding towns and edges.
Which service do you actually need?
Most people arrive here having searched for one specific thing, so it is worth saying that these are not eleven separate jobs. They are angles on one job, and a real rat problem usually touches three or four of them.
If you are hearing noise above the ceiling after dark, start with roof rat removal. That is the animal in the large majority of Tampa attic calls, and the page explains how it got up there, which is most of the problem.
If your own traps have caught nothing, read rat trapping. It is almost always placement rather than equipment, and the fix is unglamorous but reliable.
If you have already had rats removed and they came back, the missing step was exclusion. Trapping empties a house. Sealing keeps it empty. In a city with no winter to slow breeding, an open soffit return refills quickly.
If there is a smell but no visible animal, that is dead rat removal, and the carcass has to come out rather than be sprayed over.
If a rat is in your living space right now, or in a commercial kitchen, that is an emergency and it is worth calling tonight rather than tomorrow.
And if you are not sure what animal you have at all, the rodent control page lays out roof rat, Norway rat, and house mouse side by side, plus how to rule out squirrels, which get mistaken for rats regularly.
One thing this site does not do is general pest control. No roaches, ants, termites, or mosquitoes. That is a genuine limitation and worth knowing before you call. If you want one company on a quarterly schedule for everything, a full-service route is a better fit. If the problem is rats, this is the whole job rather than a line item on someone else's rotation.
Not sure which one you need? Just call.
Describe what you are hearing and where. You get the scope and the number before anything starts, with no obligation.
